Advanced PCS Customer Call Center

60,000 square feet of vacant building (shell space) built out to the client's specifications in nine weeks!

AdvancedPCS, one of Fortune magazine's 100 fastest-growing companies will open a customer service center in the Pellissippi Corporate Center, in west Knox County. The service center will employ a work force of 400 people. The call center will field calls concerning prescription drugs and retail claims. AdvancedPCS generates revenues by serving two primary customer groups: health-plan sponsors and pharmaceutical manufacturers.

Shoffner field crews and the sheetmetal shop worked many long hours and some seven work weeks to insure that their client (Integra Construction - Atlanta, Georgia) was able to deliver the completed project on time. The goal was to allow Advanced PCS to move in to the existing building in nine weeks. This was achieved with a "must do" attitude and careful planning and coordination by all parties.

One example is that the Shoffner conference room and training center, in Knoxville was used as the site of a "pre-planning" meeting by the developer (Adevco), the client (AdvancedPCS), the project architect (Stang & Newdow) and Integra Construction. Use of the Shoffner facilities allowed all the "out of town" parties to meet near the project site and coordinate  the details two weeks prior to the project start date.
