The Design and Build Option
Read the following paragraphs and see if you have ever been in this situation:

Your HVAC and / or Mechanical system does not work correctly, and is not at all what you envisioned the system to be.

The mechanical contractor says, "he just installed the systems, as drawn by the mechanical engineer." He is just the installer.

 The mechanical engineer tells you that "all his firm did was design the systems, they did not purchase the equipment, or install the system." He is just the designer.

The architect that you have selected for your project tells you that "the mechanical contractor and the mechanical engineer need to "work it out." He was not responsible for the systems design or it's installation. He is just the project team leader."
